The circulation of Covid-19 continues to slow down in France. The incidence rate was 268.1 as of August 09. It was down 31.8% from the week before.

According to the daily assessment of the Covid-19 epidemic published by Public Health France, the indicators continue to improve in France this Friday August 12, 2022, with 22,638 new cases recorded in 24 hours, compared to 30,592 on Friday August 5.


“The virological and hospital indicators (remain) high”

The number of daily cases over seven rolling days is also down, to 23,914 new contaminations on average.

The decline concerns all regions but Public Health France calls for caution and vigilance: “However, the virological and hospital indicators (remain) high”.

Over the last seven days (Rolling week from August 03 to 09, 2022), in our departments, it is 225.34 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in Aube, 219.11 in Aisne, 291.76 in Ardennes and 209.05 in Marne.
